LG Signature is the top tier of LG's laundry, and its dryer comes as a 9.0 cu. ft. vented machine in electric and gas versions, next to a ventless washer-dryer combo that dries with a heat pump. A visit starts by establishing which of these is installed, because the three share very little behind the panels. The Signature dryer is sold as the DLEX9500K electric and DLGX9501K gas models, and the LUWM101HWA puts a washer and a heat-pump dryer in one cabinet. Only the gas model needs its supply line and burner checked on a no-heat call. ### Storage under a sliding lid The Signature dryer has a lid on top that slides back to reveal small storage compartments. It is easy to forget during a service call, so empty it before the technician arrives. ### A duct reading with a hard stop The Signature manual groups d80, d90 and d95 as a duct 80 to 95 percent blocked and says not to run the dryer until the exhaust is cleaned or repaired. On this model a high Flow Sense reading is treated as a fire-risk stop, not a maintenance hint. ### Steam from a feeder drawer Steam cycles draw water from a feeder that is filled by hand to a MAX line, and the manual warns against distilled water because the level sensor in the steam generator cannot read it. A steam complaint is often the feeder rather than the generator. ### A combo on a 120-volt outlet The Signature washer-dryer combo dries with an inverter heat pump and is rated for a 120-volt, 10-amp supply. It has no exhaust duct, so slow drying on it is traced inside the cabinet rather than to a vent. Parts Sensors and heating parts are shared across much of LG's range, but Signature trim, lid and steam components can take longer to arrive than LG's everyday parts. Confirming the exact model before the visit shortens that wait. Repair or replace A Signature dryer is a premium purchase, usually bought as a matched pair, so a sensor, heater or steam repair almost always costs less than replacing it. The exception is a unit whose main board is no longer supplied. Book your LG SIGNATURE visit ## What we are called out for. On LG SIGNATURE, most often dryer error code. The DLEX9500K and DLGX9501K dryers are vented, with four venting directions to choose from. The LUWM101HWA combo is different: it dries with a heat pump and has no exhaust duct at all. ### My LG Signature dryer shows d95. Can I finish the load? No. The Signature manual says not to use the dryer until the exhaust system has been cleaned or repaired, because running it against a severely restricted duct can start a fire. Stop the cycle, then book a vent cleaning and a check of the dryer. ### Can I fill the Signature steam feeder with distilled water? LG says not to. The water level sensor in the steam generator does not work with distilled water, so use tap water up to the MAX line and make sure the drawer closes fully. --- **[Read on the site: LG Signature Dryer Repair | DryerRepair.center](https://dryerrepair.center/brands/lg-signature/)** **[Book a visit with DryerRepair.center](https://dryerrepair.center/schedule/)**
