Pull the water tank out with both hands and pour it out. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I stop Empty Tank from interrupting cycles on my GE compact dryer? GE allows a drain hose to be fitted, and with it the tank no longer needs emptying. Otherwise, emptying after every cycle keeps it from stopping mid-load. ### My GE compact dryer paused mid-cycle with Empty Tank lit. Is the load ruined? No. Empty the tank and press Start; the light turns off and the cycle resumes. --- **[Read on the site: GE dryer showing Empty Tank | DryerRepair.center](https://dryerrepair.center/error-codes/ge-empty-tank/)** **[Book a visit with DryerRepair.center](https://dryerrepair.center/schedule/)**
