Clean the lint filter, then pull the dryer out and look for a crushed, kinked or coiled transition duct behind it. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Will the d80 on my LG dryer go away by itself? The message may not appear on every load, but the restriction it measured stays until the duct is cleaned or straightened. Expect d80 to return if nothing changes behind or outside the dryer. ### Why would a gas LG dryer show d80 when the vent is clean? LG notes that on gas models d80 can also mean the burner is not receiving enough gas.
