Open the door, push the lint filter all the way in, and remove any clothing caught at the door edge. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why would the lint filter cause a dE code on an LG dryer? LG lists a lint filter that is not pushed fully home among the first things to check for dE, alongside clothing trapped at the door. Seating the filter properly is part of its reset routine. ### The door looks shut but dE keeps returning. What now? If a power reset and a firm close do not clear it, LG says the dryer needs service.
