Check the drain hose along its length for kinks, twists or a clogged end. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can a longer drain hose cause E13 on an LG dryer? LG warns that an extended drain hose adds resistance and recommends only the standard LG hose. If the hose was lengthened during installation, that is the first thing to undo. ### Could cold weather cause an E13 code? Yes, LG includes frozen water in the sump among the causes.
