Wipe the sensor strips inside the drum, below the lint filter, with a damp cloth or paper towel. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why did my LG dryer run for over two hours when HS appeared? With the humidity sensor in question, the dryer cannot confirm the load is dry, so LG says it runs for about two and a half hours. Cleaning the sensor strips is the first fix LG recommends. ### Does HS mean the humidity sensor must be replaced? Only if cleaning does not help.
