LG dryer display What to do when nP shows on the dryer ### Kind of code Heating The dryer expected heat and did not get it, or got it too slowly. On an electric model the element and its wiring; on a gas model the igniter, the flame sensor and the valve coils. Check that the power cord is pushed fully into a grounded 240-volt outlet. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I keep drying with nP showing on my LG dryer? The drum may still turn, but with no current at the heater the load will not dry properly. Resetting the breaker is worth trying first; beyond that, the supply or the dryer needs testing. ### My LG dryer was just installed and shows nP; what should I check first? LG's advice for a fresh install is to have the installer check the power cord connection and the wall outlet.
