Unplug the dryer or switch off its breaker. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Does a factory reset really fix tE1 on an LG dryer? LG says the reset is usually the fix, which suggests many tE1 readings are momentary. If the code returns after the reset, the thermistor circuit needs testing. ### What is the difference between tE1 and tE3? LG groups tE1 and tE3 together as thermistor problems and gives both the same reset procedure.
