End the program and turn the dryer off. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### What does the compressor named in F159 do in a Miele dryer? In a heat-pump dryer the compressor drives the refrigerant circuit that warms the drying air. If it will not start, the dryer cannot produce its heat. ### Is F159 worth repairing on a Miele dryer? That depends on the age of the dryer and what the visit finds. The compressor circuit is tested before any decision is made. --- **[Read on the site: Miele dryer showing F159 | DryerRepair.center](https://dryerrepair.center/error-codes/miele-f159/)** **[Book a visit with DryerRepair.center](https://dryerrepair.center/schedule/)**
