Switch the dryer off at the breaker for one minute, then turn it back on. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Will F3 E1 go away after a power reset on my Whirlpool? It may, if the control simply misread the sensor once. A code that returns within the first minute of a Timed Dry cycle after the reset points to the thermistor or its wiring. ### Is the exhaust thermistor on a Whirlpool hard to reach? The sensor is inside the cabinet, so a panel has to come off before it can be tested with a meter.
