Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 314-5837

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from ASKO's own guidance for E2 on its dryers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Power the dryer down, give it one minute, and run the program again.

02

Book a visit if E2 persists.

Still there?

It usually turns into controls and sensors. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

E2 is distinct from E9, which Asko uses for mismatched software versions between the power board and the user interface.

What you may
notice with it.

The dryer problems E2 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the dryer before anyone is booked.

Questions
about E2.

Can I clear E2 myself?
Power the dryer down, give it one minute, and run the program again. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Is E2 on an Asko dryer the same as E9?
No. E2 is a general communication error, while E9 means the software on the power board and the user interface do not match.
Why does Asko suggest waiting a minute before restarting after E2?
Its manual attributes some error reports to outside disturbances such as power-grid events. A one-minute break is its standard first step before calling service.

Still showing E2?

Book with the code exactly as displayed, the whole model number, and whether you smell burning or gas — for a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
