What EF1

EF1 is Electrolux's ventilation blockage message. Lint in the filter, bends or restrictions in the exhaust tube, or a blocked outside exit keep the air from leaving.

Air is not leaving the dryer fast enough. Lint in the duct, a crushed hose behind the machine or a stuck flap on the outside hood is found long before any part fails.

Clean the lint filter, opening the clamshell to clear both sides.
Straighten the exhaust tube and remove any restriction.
Check the vent exit outside and clear any lint or debris; book a visit if EF1 returns.
