L2 means the dryer is not getting proper voltage on the heating side of its supply, so the heater stays off while the drum keeps turning. On an electric model that is usually one of the two house breakers or the cord hookup.

The dryer expected heat and did not get it, or got it too slowly. On an electric model the element and its wiring; on a gas model the igniter, the flame sensor and the valve coils. A blocked vent is ruled out first.

Check the breaker panel; an electric dryer uses two breakers or fuses, and both must be on.

If the breakers are fine, have the power cord connection checked against the installation instructions, then book a visit if the code persists.
