What to do when nP shows on the dryerKind of codeHeating
The dryer expected heat and did not get it, or got it too slowly. On an electric model the element and its wiring; on a gas model the igniter, the flame sensor and the valve coils. A blocked vent is ruled out first.

Each step comes from LG's own guidance for nP on its dryers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Check that the power cord is pushed fully into a grounded 240-volt outlet.
Switch the dryer's breaker off for at least 10 seconds, then back on.
If nP remains, have the outlet voltage checked by an electrician, and book a visit if the supply tests correct.
What not to do
nP alone does not prove the heating element is burned out. LG ties the code to power arriving at the heater, so the supply is checked first.
